In the heart of our community, where compassion meets resilience, The Unforgettables Foundation of Southern Ohio continues its sacred mission: to provide comfort and tangible support to families enduring the unimaginable loss of a child.
Since our founding in 2016, we have walked beside 200 families through their darkest moments – offering financial aid, emotional care, and a promise that their children will never be forgotten.
Now, we are embarking on a new chapter in that promise.
A Place to Remember
While grief is deeply personal, healing often requires a shared, physical space – a place to reflect, to honor, and to connect with the memory of a beloved child. For many families, especially those who have chosen cremation (over 60% of those we serve), no such space currently exists.
To address this profound need, we are creating The Unforgettables Memorial – a dedicated tribute nestled in the peaceful, historic grounds of Woodland Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio.
This permanent site will feature a beautifully designed granite monument engraved with the names of the children served by our foundation. It will be a sanctuary for quiet reflection, a symbol of love that endures, and a visible reminder that our community holds these children and their families in its heart.
